Hi! My name is Olivia and I’m adorable! Olivia’s mom and I started planning her pictures long before she was even born. She told me at her maternity session that she had already bought a few things for the newborn session. I was thrilled to see red, white & blue bloomers! I always love personalized items and I’m sad when I can’t take them home with me.
I usually start my shoots by searching the house for the best lighting and I decided that we would probably get the best light if I set up on their screened in porch. It was a nice warm day and sweet Olivia didn’t stand a chance, that heat knocked her out and she happily slept in the buff for the whole session.

We were working hard to make sure Olivia’s dad was included in the shoot, even if he couldn’t be there. Although he was with us for a bit via skype. I love technology! He left for Afghanistan right after the maternity shoot and won’t get to hold her for months!
We were brainstorming ways to incorporate more of Dad’s interest. That led us to this picture, which I love! Couldn’t believe we found a pretty pink teddy bear golf ball.
The pink hat is supposed to be a “coming home hat”, but it was still a little too big for tiny Olivia, so with a little maneuvering a beautiful thing happened…it became a golfer’s cap! I have this adorable hat in blue and pink, from My Market Stall.

I can’t wait to get a picture like this with Olivia and her Dad when it is time for her 6 months pictures! The cuddle pictures are always my favorites. To me it’s like actually being able to see love.
Olivia’s parents received two of these mini accordion albums as a thank you for the sacrifices they are both making for our country. They have a little magnet that make them snap shut and are perfect for purses and shipping overseas.
Thank you both so much!
