Mason is part of the Acorn Baby Plan. Which means I get to see him on his 1st Birthday for his Cake Smash pictures! I can’t think of anything better! Mason has grown so much from his newborn session! He still fits in the coke crate but now awake and giggly!
The glasses might have been my idea. I’ve been dreaming of a bookworm-type newborn shoot. But I think they look pretty spiffy here too!
I had several goals for this shoot but two of my main ones were…
1. Get a few clean simple “make-the-grandmoms swoon” pictures.
Check and check!
Bonus! Mason already had his halloween costume!
2. My next goal was to try and get a little bit of Mason’s everyday life. I wanted to get a few pictures of him checking out his first bubble bath. While we waited for the tub to fill up, we got some very cute unexpected pictures with Greg and Katie’s “Fur-st” born, Callie!
I love these moments the most. I just wanted to drop my camera when I saw Mason curl up on his mama and smile the sweetest most genuine smile I’ve ever seen.
