Happy Birthday Mason! Congratulations on graduating from my “Baby’s First Year Club”. It’s been so fun watching you grow. You are such a happy little guy. I hope your future girlfriend appreciates these pictures as much as I do! I can’t tell you why I keep putting you in glasses, but you sure do look cute! I was going for “the old man from the movie, Up”. Yeah?
While setting up for Mason’s cake smash, I asked “Does Mason like to be messy?” The answer was just laughter. See for yourself, you can actually see the cake flying through the air. Mason wins for the messiest, and therefore most successful, cake smash I’ve ever done.
When the cake was as flat as Mason could get it, we threw him in the tub and let him continue playing. Can I just say I have had great luck with bathrooms having great lighting. (Is it weird that I’ve done an entire shoot in a bathroom before?!) Oh and I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I love me some baby lashes!
Poor Callie cracks me up, she always gives me the best faces whenever Mason is “loving” on her. She loves Mason, and Mason loves her back, sometimes too much. You can see how patient Callie was with Mason at his 6 month pictures. He straight up used her ear for a rattle.
Here is a sneak peak of two of the spreads in Mason’s 1st year baby book. I use the same company that I use for wedding albums. I love them, they are so clean, modern, and fun! The book will highlight pictures from Mason’s newborn pictures, 6 month pictures, and his 1st birthday cake smash! We used the Coke crate to show how much Mason has grown in between each session.
