Daniel Island is kind of my special spot. Not only is it where I first lived in Charleston and where I got engaged, but it has a peaceful uniquely southern vibe that not everyone knows about. My first visit truly made me stop and say, wow, I get to live here?
It has tree tunnels, bridges through the marsh, moss dripping from trees, and even what I call "the fake beach." It has everything a photographer dreams of within a 10 minute walk. Perfect for getting a variety of images in a short amount of time.
It's changed a lot of the years and now includes restaurants, a splash pad and playground, but you can still walk just a few steps into the woods and find gorgeous tree tunnels and delicious lighting for family photos.
